Konami Group Corp reported revenue of approximately JPY42,67 billion (US$295.0 million) in its gaming and systems division – including casino equipment – in the fiscal year ended March 31, 2025. The result was up 7.4 percent from a year earlier, according to a Thursday announcement.
The gaming segment recorded a profit of almost JPY7.36 billion, a year-on-year increase of 18.4 percent.
The Japanese entertainment conglomerate’s gaming and systems division includes the supply of casino slot machines and casino floor-management systems.
In the casino gaming segment, Konami Group operates outside Japan via Konami Australia Pty Ltd and U.S.-based Konami Gaming Inc.
Konami Group said in Thursday’s update that the North American and Australian gaming markets “remained stable”, providing for “new placement opportunities”.
The company said its Dimension 49 and Dimension 27 cabinets “drove the sales of the slot machine segment” in the reporting period. “The Dimension 43×3 also steadily increased its unit sales,” stated the firm.
Looking ahead, Konami Group said that its competitors continue to introduce new products, “creating an environment that requires higher product appeal”.
The company said it would “continue to expand” its line-up of Dimension cabinets available to the market, while aiming to increase sales of the group’s existing games and developing new titles.
Konami Group is also involved in the Japan-focused pachinko games segment, as well as in digital entertainment – including video games and mobile games – and sports. Group-wide revenue for the year to March 31 rose 17.0 percent year-on-year, to nearly JPY421.60 billion.
Profit attributable to its owners in the period stood at JPY74.69 billion, up 26.2 percent from the prior-year period.
The group declared a year-end cash dividend of JPY99.50 per share. Combined with an interim JPY66.0 dividend per share, it took the annual dividend payout to JPY165.50 per share, or an aggregate amount of just under JPY22.44 billion for the fiscal year.
Konami Group said it expects group-wide revenue to be around JPY430.0 billion in the 12-month period ended March 31, 2026, with profit of JPY75.0 billion.
For the gaming segment, the company expects revenue of JPY43.0 billion in the year to March 31, 2026, with JPY7.5 billion in terms of operating profit.
The dividend forecast on an annual basis for the fiscal year ending March 31, 2026 stands at JPY166.00 per share, stated the group.
