The Public Safety Savings and Loan Association, Inc. (PSSLAI) has entered into a partnership with technology provider Traxion Tech.
PSSLAI and Traxion Tech formalised the collaboration by signing a Memorandum of Agreement on May 7, 2025. It aims to relaunch PSSLAI’s digital platform, PSSLAI Bilis Online.
The new platform will function as a mobile banking application incorporating an electronic wallet solution. PSSLAI aims to provide its members with enhanced access to financial services through this development. These members notably include individuals from the Philippine National Police and the Bureau of Fire Protection.
The updated ‘PSSLAI Bilis Online’ application provides members with real-time access to their account balances and loan information. It will also enable them to perform transactions such as applying for loans, receiving loan proceeds, paying bills, and transferring funds through the mobile app.
Lucas Managuelod, Chairman and CEO of PSSLAI, stated that the partnership aims to enhance the banking experience for members by using technology for more efficient services.
Drawing on its experience with cooperatives and rural banks, Traxion Tech will contribute to developing digital solutions. Joshua Allen Santos, COO of Traxion Tech, mentioned that they are honoured to collaborate with PSSLAI.
