Tonik Appoints Mike Singh as Tendo President

Tonik Financial has announced the appointment of Mike Singh as President of Templetech Inc. (“Tendo”), its SEC-licensed consumer lending subsidiary. Tendo provides salary-deducted credit to employees of leading employers in the Philippines.

Singh succeeds Founder Kacper Marcinkowski, who is stepping down to pursue a new venture. Under Kacper’s leadership, Tendo onboarded over 300 employers, including Concentrix, and extended instant credit access to over 150,000 employees. Tendo’s loan portfolio has also seen significant growth since 2022.

“Kacper proved that fully digital, responsible payroll lending can scale at start-up velocity. We’re incredibly grateful for what he’s built. As we move into the next phase of expansion, Mike brings the scale mindset we need. His proven track record… uniquely positions him to lead Tendo into its next chapter”.

Mike Singh assumed his new role on June 16, 2025. He brings nearly three decades of experience in global and local financial institutions, with a background in institutional banking, capital markets, and strategic execution.

His previous roles include Chief Commercial Officer of UnionDigital Bank and Head of Lending and Ecosystem Partnerships at Grab Financial. He has also been involved in launching, scaling, and exiting multiple fintech and retail ventures in the Philippines.

In his new position, Mike will lead Tendo as President with full P&L ownership. He will also serve as Chief Strategy & Ecosystem Officer for Tonik Group, focusing on scaling strategic partnerships and embedded finance. Additionally, Singh will join Tonik’s Group Management Board, reporting directly to CEO Greg Krasnov.

Mike himself expressed enthusiasm for his new role.

He stated, “Tendo’s B2B2C payroll model is redefining mass-market credit in the Philippines. It’s a rare platform with deep employer integration and bank-grade rails. I’m excited to build on Kacper’s strong foundation and take this to a national scale”.
